1. Who this policy covers

This policy covers the MediAlarm+ iPhone app and this website, medialarmplus.com. The data controller for the website is MediAlarm+; you can contact us at admin@medialarmplus.com.

2. Information stored in the app

MediAlarm+ stores your medicine names, doses, schedules, reminder records, settings, and user-recorded actions locally on your iPhone. The app does not require an account and does not use cloud sync for this routine data. We do not receive or access this local medication information.

3. Optional reference images

If you choose to use scan confirmation, the app uses the camera to capture a reference image of medicine packaging and creates local comparison information from it. The camera is optional; the Photo Library is not used. These images and comparison data stay on your iPhone and are used only to compare a later camera image with your saved reference. They do not identify a medicine or confirm ingestion.

You can remove or replace a reference image from the medicine’s edit screen. Deleting a medicine stops its future reminders; its local routine history may remain on the device. To remove all remaining MediAlarm+ data from a device, delete the app from that device. We cannot delete this local data for you because it is not stored on our servers.

4. Technical crash diagnostics

When Firebase configuration is included in the app, MediAlarm+ uses Firebase Crashlytics to help diagnose crashes. Crashlytics may collect crash stack traces, relevant technical app state, and device and operating-system information. MediAlarm+ does not intentionally attach medicine names, doses, reference images, email addresses, or custom user IDs to crash reports.

Crashlytics is provided by Google Firebase and processes diagnostic data under its own privacy practices. We use these reports only to investigate reliability problems and not for advertising, marketing, or profiling. Before the public iOS release, the app will provide a clear diagnostic-reporting choice.

5. Website information

If you join the early-access list, we store the email address you submit and the time you submitted it. We use it only to send MediAlarm+ launch updates. You can ask us to delete it or unsubscribe at any time by emailing admin@medialarmplus.com.

We do not use website visitor-tracking, advertising identifiers, or browsing profiles.

6. Sharing and retention

We do not sell routine data or use it for targeted advertising. Local medication data remains on your device. Website early-access emails remain until you ask us to remove them or unsubscribe. Crash diagnostics are handled by Firebase Crashlytics for reliability purposes.

7. Your choices and contact

You can choose whether to use the camera, remove reference images, delete the app’s local data by deleting the app, and request deletion of an early-access email. For privacy questions or requests, email admin@medialarmplus.com.

8. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy when MediAlarm+ changes. The effective date at the top will show when it was last revised.
